Gente que Soma
SeptemberHosted at Stanford University, the Gente que Soma initiative brought together over 70 leaders across government, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to explore strategies for advancing Mathematics education in Brazil. Across three days of immersive discussions, participants analyzed empirical evidence, international case studies, and high-impact policy solutions, directly supporting the rollout of the Toda Matemática policy and elevating the national debate on mathematics pedagogy. Two months later, a follow-up edition of Gente que Soma took place in São Paulo.
