2nd Public Sector People Analytics Seminar

Brazil Conference

April

Hosted in April at Harvard University and MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the Brazil Conference convened leaders to examine Brazil’s role on the world stage. Keynote speakers and panelists included Jorge Paulo Lemann, Daiane dos Santos, Ana Maria Braga, Anderson Silva, and Cacique Raoni Metuktire, alongside parallel activities focused on student engagement.

St. Gallen Symposium

May

Held annually at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, the symposium convenes global decision-makers to address economic, political, and social development. In 2025, representatives from the Lemann Foundation Leaders Network and Brasil on Campus participated in the program, elevating the voice of young Brazilian leaders in international forums.

Brazil Forum UK

June

Organized by Brazilian students at the University of Oxford, the forum brings together public leaders and experts to discuss solutions to national challenges. Hosted at the Blavatnik School of Government in 2025, the event featured prominent speakers including Member of the Chamber of Deputies Duda Salabert, indigenous activist Txai Suruí, Human Rights lawyer Andressa Caldas, and Supreme Court Justice Luís Roberto Barroso.

Lemann Fellow Day

August

Lemann Fellow Day brought together 60 incoming Lemann Fellows and 20 alumni in a pre-departure meeting designed to foster community, align impact goals, and deepen engagement with Lemann Foundation networks. Featuring contributions from Denis Mizne, Jorge Paulo Lemann, Susanna Lemann, and others, the event launched the cohort’s integration into Brasil on Campus and multi-year international career support initiatives.

Openness to Dialogue at Leading Universities

August

Led by FGV Direito SP, the study “Openness to Dialogue at Leading Universities” evaluated the challenges of institutional dialogue across toptier academic institutions. The findings emphasize that structured conflictresolution frameworks and faculty development are vital to sustaining more diverse learning environments.

UN General Assembly (UNGA 80)

September

At the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Lemann Foundation representatives participated in panels on trust, collaboration, and long-term vision as fundamental pillars for addressing systemic challenges. Strategic sessions emphasized international cooperation and sustained investment in leadership, education, and social equity.

2nd Public Sector People Analytics Seminar

October

Held in Brasília under a strategic agreement between the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) and the Lemann Foundation, the seminar presented key findings of the project “Leading Strategically with People Analytics” (Liderando Estrategicamente com People Analytics) and the study “Voices of the Federal Civil Service: Evidence for People Management” (Vozes do Serviço Público Federal: Evidências para a Gestão de Pessoas). Developed in collaboration with Enap, the survey gathered insights from nearly 49,800 civil servants across 204 federal agencies.

‘Strengthening Public Leadership’ Study

November

Published by Insper’s Center for Management and Public Policy (CGPP) in partnership with VAMOS, the study “Strengthening Public Leadership: Lessons Learned and Best Practices in Brazilian Governments” provides an evidence-based roadmap built on state-level implementations in Goiás, Sergipe, and Rio Grande do Sul. The study indicates that competencybased selection and continuous leadership development can strengthen state capacity and help institutionalize people-management policies.
