Aliança Imagina

Aliança Imagina is a co-investment initiative between the Lemann Foundation and Imaginable Futures dedicated to advancing racial equity in education. Launched in 2023, its third phase centers on strengthening civil society organizations led by Afro-Brazilian, Indigenous, and Quilombola leaders working across formal and non-formal educational settings.

In 2025, the initiative advanced by issuing a call for proposals designed for organizations operating at the intersection of education, local territory, environment, and identity, valuing local knowledge and social technologies. The call prioritizes initiatives from Brazil’s North, Northeast, and Center-West regions, with particular attention to women leaders, and provides annual funding of R$100,000 for three years, together with technical and capacity-building support. The inaugural cycle attracted 30 applicant organizations.
