Afro-Brazilian Women Leaders Network in the Public Administration

Afro-Brazilian Women Leaders Network in the Public Administration (RMNL) was established through a partnership between the National School of Public Administration (Enap) and the Lemann Foundation to address institutional isolation and the under-representation of Afro-Brazilian women across public sector decision-making networks. The initiative seeks to create spaces for exchange, support, and collective strengthening among women leaders at different levels of public administration.

In 2025, the Network advanced its organizational structure by defining governance, establishing Working Groups, and organizing workstreams such as communications and planning for the Annual Meeting. Integrated into Enap’s institutional portfolio, RMNL consolidated its role as a leadership development initiative, expanding connections and strengthening the work of Afro-Brazilian women in decision-making positions in the public sector.
