Columbia Women’s Leadership Network

An initiative of the Columbia Global Center Rio, with 30 participants selected in 2025 and a network of over 150 alumnae, the Columbia Women’s Leadership Network (CWLN) develops women leaders in social-impact fields across Brazil, with a focus on expanding the presence of women, especially Afro-Brazilian women, in decision-making positions.

Now in its sixth edition, the program conducted a nationwide selection process based on diversity criteria and candidates’ work in social impact. Delivered in a hybrid format, the curriculum combined in-person modules, virtual sessions, an international immersion in New York, one-on-one mentorship, and projects focused on advancing equity.
